The member representing Etinan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,Obong Paul Ekpo (OPE) has been announced as Chairman of the induction ceremony of His Royal Majesty, Edidem A. M. Akpanobong, Paramount Ruler of Etinan LGA as Grand Patron of the African Church.
The African Church, St. Peter's Pro-Cathedral, Nkana, Etinan Local Government Area (LGA), Akwa Ibom State, Ebenezer Diocese, Hallelujah Province (The Bethel of Transformation), is pleased to announce the formal induction of His Royal Majesty, Edidem A. M. Akpanobong, Paramount Ruler of Etinan LGA, as its Grand Patron.
This ceremony will coincide with the Church's Centenary Celebration and the launch of a N5 billion naira fund for church development.
The event, scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, will be chaired by Obong Paul Ekpo (OPE) and have His Excellency, Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno Ph.D as the Special Guest of Honor, while the Executive Chairman of Etinan LGA, Hon. Uko Umoh will serve as the Chief Host.
According to the release by the Central Planning Committee,all stakeholders,traditional rulers, and the political class of Etinan LGA origin are cordially invited to join in the milestone celebration in the history of the African Church.
