Whenever Uyo people gather, something great happens! This was truly actualised today when the united people of Uyo LGA stormed the Village Square for their Cultural Day at Christmas Unplugged 3.0.
They came out beautifully dressed in brightly coloured red wrappers, white tops, and royal headgears—unique, to say the least.
Their entrance into the Village Square was triumphant; from vintage vehicles to the matching outfits, style dripped at its peak. Their food, crafts, dignitaries and coordination were nothing short of resplendent.
Ballads from the children moved the crowd, highlighting their level of cultural awareness despite their young age. The dings from xylophones and the harmony from the choral performances touched hearts and entertained.
Indeed, the people of Uyo took ownership of the Village Square as though it were a birthright, and they did it with style. This raises a question: why save the best for last? Perhaps to leave a lasting impression, just as Uyo did.
