The Executive Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka, has charged Nigerian youths to harness their potential and creativity to drive progress and development in the country. This message comes as part of the celebrations marking International Youth Day 2025.
In a special message to the youth of Nigeria made available by the special adviser on development partners and ICT, Hon. Mina Horsfalll, AMAC chairman,Hon. Zakka emphasized the significance of democracy, which involves the importance of upholding the rights and freedoms of all citizens, particularly the youth. Quoting the theme of the day, "From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development," he encouraged Nigerian youths to leverage their energy, creativity, and passion to drive positive change and greatness in their communities and the country at large.
Hon. Zakka promised that his administration will prioritize the needs and well-being of AMAC residents, including the youth,by creating empowerment schemes and ensure equal access to opportunities for all. He called on leaders to work together to build a brighter future for all Nigerians, particularly the youth, and to ensure that their voices are heard and their potential is unleashed.
"As we celebrate International Youth Day 2025, we join the world in recognizing the potential and creativity of Nigerian youths. Let's work together to build a brighter future for all and to ensure that the voices of the youth are heard and their potential is unleashed",he said.
To the youth of Nigeria, Hon. Zakka said,"You are the leaders of today and tomorrow. Harness your energy, creativity, and passion to drive positive change for greatness in your communities and the country at large."
