As Akwa Ibom State celebrates its 38th anniversary, Honourary Special Adviser on Culture & Tourism, Nkereuwem Onung, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Pastor Umo Eno and the good people of Akwa Ibom.
In a goodwill message, Onung hailed the Governor's vision for the state's tourism development and his commitment to preserving Akwa Ibom's rich cultural heritage.
"Warmest congratulations to the people of Akwa Ibom State on our 38th anniversary!" Onung said. "May this milestone celebration mark a new chapter of growth, prosperity, and peace in our great state", the message partly read.
The immediate past President of Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) prayed for continued blessings and prosperity for the state, saying, "May God bless our state and people.
"As the Honourary Special Adviser on Culture & Tourism, I, Nkereuwem Onung, extend my heartfelt goodwill message to the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno Ph.D and the good people of Akwa Ibom.
I pray that the Governor's vision for Akwa Ibom's tourism development and his commitment to preserving our rich cultural heritage yield bounty."
He added that "may this milestone celebration mark a new chapter of growth, prosperity, and peace in our great state. May Pastor Umo Eno's leadership continue to inspire and uplift our people.".
The activities to mark the 38th anniversary celebration began on Sunday, September 21 with a Thanksgiving Service at the International Worship Center and was followed by a banquet on September 23rd at rhe Government House Banquet Hall.
